Im talking ******* totall trash, like 3/4 rims are donughts, with like a cracked windshield and an engine bay that is like completley covered in gunk lol.

If you can't find a second gen picture to show, just tell us about it, good for a few laughs im sure.
As a kicker, we'll add 'worst engine' you have ever dealt with mechanically. fc3spro.com has some good nightmares with pics, but it would be nice to see an engine bay that is completley covered in rust, lime and gunk to see who's is the worst.

I thought it would be a fun alternative to the best second gen thread thats been on the front page here for the past week.

 

these arent FCS but i saw two 79's in a guys back yard that have been there for well over 10 yrs..... one is rusted so bad the floor boards and frame rails are gone the cars bout to break in half!!! lol

then the other one the windows are all broken out/gone, and the seats are made of moss now as well as the carpet! and the motor has leaves and pineneedles down the carborator! has grass/stickerbushes growing up the sides of the motor,

lol amazingly, we put a batery in it, and it cranks over and sounds like it has compression!!!! ,how ever we couldnt get fuel or spark........... and its an auto!! RIP rx-7

I've got one, a guy told me about a second gen sitting on the side of the road about 25 min from where I live so one day I finally got a chance to go check it out. There was the obvious rust, being surrounded by an ocean and all, but the hood had NO PAINT and was 5 feet in frount of the car. Both doors were off and in the bushes a few feet away along with both seats. The engine was half dismantled and all the removed peices were randomly thrown about. All 4 rims were different and some were flat. The only thing not torn out of the inside was the carpet, which had a good number of healty plants growing. The instrument panel was completly missing and the dash was just hanging there. The bad part? It was an automatic! I was hoping to bring her back to life. The worst part of all? Some of them damn pieces were in better condition then the ones on my car (sunroof, tail lights, frount bumper etc)!

 

this other time i found a black 1st gen off the side of the road in a ditch and it had tboned a tree in some bushes, was gonna take parts off it as it had sat there for over a week with the windows broken out. i came back the next week thinking id just borrow a few things . from this abandoned vehicle
but walking toward it it looked brown i was like huh!? then getitng near enought o see, someone had torched the car to the ground!!!! was just a rusty melted pile of dush and frame now.....

 

I remember a thread from a while back of fc that was UGLY.......had a bunch of ugly paint and stuff.....anybodt else know what im talking about? Sorry to be so vague...........

 

I saw one at the local wally world once, it was a Dark brown and fadded , huge dents in both rear quarter panels, no front bumper phone dial wheels with more curb rash then I have ever seen and one donut, passanger side window was busted and a garbage bag covered it, the seats were completly torn apart with the foam all over the place, headliner falling down interior was just shot! there was one good thing on the car was the rear plastic RX-7 badge it was in perfect condition.

I do quite a bit of offroading ,and I wa on the trail and I heard metal being smashed...SO I drove pas the tree line and some kid were running over and over this little red fb. STHe drove over the roof and EVERYHING ,also tore the motor out. I bet baby Jesus was crying when that happened.

 

that is a first gen on the right. i wonder if that fire was due to pd failure??

 

the worst that i have evaar seen wasn't bad compared to the others, BUT...

i was looking through a used car lot one time a stumbled across a BASE model fc...ooooh!!! ok, so that doesn't sound bad, but let me tell you it's pretty scary. it had drum brakes in the back...ouch! and the most stripped interior possible. no luggage belts in the back. can't remember if it had a tape player. no ac. steel wheels with plastic hub caps like an escort or some of those crap little sedans have.

i'm not making this up. i have a factory parts catalog and i don't even recall seeing those options....but i saw this with my own two eyes and they were factory parts....

 

Not as bad as the one posted earlier, but the hoodscoop says it all. The funny thing is that the hood was a tII hood. I guess he didnt like the factory scoop, he wanted a custom one. I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND?

 

everything else is believable except the drum brakes....... no fc EVER came w/ drum brakes......even the 4-lugged se had rear discs..........(to my knowledge at least).... can someone else please verify this?

 

Those almost look like the Impala rims?

 

almost...but the impala wheels had a deeper lip and were 17"....those look like old school eagle wheels

 

you don't need anybody to verify....i really don't think someone (back before tuning rx7's was cool) would spend the kind of money to DOWNGRADE the brakes on there cheap car....hahaha!!


look, all i'm saying is that i saw it and it doesn't matter who comes in here and says they didn't come that way!

 

lol, thats odd. Maybe he/she threw in a rear end from a mustang or some ****, the ones without half shafts and drum brakes? thats fugged up.

Eww, those look like the wheels that were on mine when I bought it. I had to replace them with some s5 wheels asap

 

Whats wrong with it?....just needs a little anti-rust protectant and some new paint! good as new!!

 

If you look at that first pic, it looks like the FC's bumper is a mouth, and its barfing up its guts! lol.

I remember that FC with the hoodscoop that was posted a while back, worst mod ever.

 

when i see that bumper it reminds me of the predator when he takes his mask off. it's rooooaring and his teeth are out
