:-( The worst have come

This hurts me a lot to ask. But how much do you guys think I would be able to get for my 1987 Mazda RX7. It’s a TII Body (checked and saw thru carfax) but my guess is that the original engine blew. When I got the car it didn’t have an engine but since it was through a trade of one car for two (the RX being part of the two) I don’t know how much it would actually be worth. The car has a blown S4 engine in it. The tranny and driveline are all great, never heard differential noises while I drove. It does however have the common broken differential mount. The car right now is under a car cover. Overall the paint looks great. Its black. A few scratches here and there but that’s bound to happen with a car this old. I don’t know if its original paint but I don’t think the car has been painted over. It has vert rims. The interior is in good shape. I would rate it a 8 out of 10 but that’s my opinion. When I make a for sale thread on the FS section I will have pics. I don’t have them now though. I might even be able to throw in two leather seats for the RX that I have. They need reupholstering though. It really hurts me to part with her but I think I’m sure that I would rather see her being fixed and used than rather see her sitting in the back of my house with the cover on it. I’m only a student at the moment with a low paying job so I don’t think I will be fixing her any time soon. -=sighs=- Thanks to whoever replies.

One last note. I have not left the Rotary.....Juss simply taking a break while I get a good job and ****. I will start looking for a TII once I get a good job.

without a motor unfortunately not much, it basically depends on what the car has into it, the exterior and interior condition and bolt ons and toss ins.

i paid $1300 for my S4 T2 with a blown motor, it was an "O.K." price but not a bargain, the interior was nice and clean, it was bone stock and had 160k on it with a rebuild. after reading up around here i found out i overpaid for it but oh well. i pay $200 for T2 core engines so $1k for a near perfect body and some toss ins isn't a huge rip off or steal.

Hmm....so would asking 1100 O.B.O be too much or right on the dot. I mean to me, the cars exterior is great except the few scratches I named (damn hurricanes) Theres probably a few dings here n there like its expected out of old cars but nothing drastic. The paint is in good conditions, somewhat faded on the TII hood, nothing too bad. Also...as you may tell its an S4 cause its 87 but it has S5 tail lights and only thing I have done to interior is install some reverse glow gauges. Im not sure but I think the VB Garage might have a pic or two of the RX, back when it had the ugly bodykit tho...that **** is off but if whoever buys it is interested they can have it, it needs to be fixed tho.
