Hi
I have recently bought a RX7 turbo 2 convertable. 1990
I love the car and will keep it as long as it lasts but I have some concerns when I start the car from cold it starts brilliant but imediately revs to 2500/3000 rpm with out touching the throttle and stays there for approx 1 minute.
Is this normal because im worried about engine damage caused by revving from cold.
It can be reluctant to start when hot as well, I have noticed now if I give full throttle it starts better, is this normal or something to sort out

it has a cold start operating system on it. It is factory and it is what the car normally does. 3rd gens came with it also
