Question WOOOOO sound?

hi

i just came back form a 4 hour trip in my 86 gxl and when i got off of the highway and started it up in 1st after 3000 rpm is made this wOOOOOO sound that went one after i put the clutch in for 2nd. it was like it was echoing the sound of the motor but in a different high pitch like it was something winding. Then i let the car sit for an hour or two when i got home and everything was back to normal. Is there anything i need to worry about? thanks

Was Bubb Rubb the previous owner of your car?

On a serious note, it's probably either the pilot bearing or the release bearing inside your bell housing/tranny.

My car does the same thing if I downshift into 3rd or 2nd at a high RPM
