woo just ordered gilmer drive

i just ordered my gilmer drive pulley crap just want to see if anyone has any tips for installing it and im wondering if anyone has any vids or pics of theirs!

dont tighten it to tight, it will snap right off the damn alternator if you do.

What's the purpose of this,just bling? I just can't see a reason for using a power robbing cogged pulley system with the associated hideous whinning noise, unless you are trying to drive a "roots" blower with it. But whatever.

yea its an anti slip belt basically im tired of my damn water pump slipping i just went on a 6 hour drive and i had to stop 5 times to let it cool down

and i took off my yoohoo belt...yoohoo belt sucks

Wait a second...You bought this to prevent the water pump from slipping? Have you simply replaced the water pump? The car should not be overheating in this way. If the pump is bad, obviously this belt setup will not help.

how is it power robbing? i didnt feel like i lost any nore have any of the other cars we put them on..the wine hasent bothered anybody that asked about them so far everybody says they sound crazy and whats under the hood. wht do you know about them beside youtube to make this statement?
