Unplug fuel pump from the connectors in the hatch, have a friend plug it in when it starts. So you have to let it completely catch before you plug back the connectors. My Vert does that to me alot of time cause the engine needs a rebuild.

Did you clean the plugs after the flood? I had to with mine. There were nasty after it got flooded. Started right up everytime since. Preaty easy to do, so even if its not it, you didn't waste a whole day doing it. Worth a shot.

sounds like you might need your injectors cleaned. pull the egi fuse and crank the engine over for a few seconds. put the fuse back in and try again. it would be a good idea to check your plugs too

remove egi. remove bottom spark plugs. crank3 times for 15 sec. watch the gas and gunk come out. put a teaspoon of oil in through the spark plug holes. install spark plugs. install egi. try starting it. if it doesnt work just keep trying. my car tends to flood cause i only start my car like once a week. if your injectors leak unplug the battery before you store it.

unplugging the battery wouldnt stop the injectors from leaking. The system is up to pressure already when car is shut off and they leak over time.
