I went outside to try to start my car and it cranked over and it would start to fire but then it would slow down like the battery is dead. so i waited 10 minutes tried it again and it had full battery stregnth but it did the same thing were it seemed to have the battery die. It was extremlly cold last night (-10) and it keeps doing that battery voltage is fine
Anyone Help?????????

Check the battery voltage while you're turning the key. It should drop to 10V. If it drops any lower then you have a bad battery. Yes, even though you see 12V when you're not cranking. It means your battery may hold a charge but it just isn't putting out enough juice anymore. Plus batteries put out less power when they're cold. So the cold weather plus an old battery may have done it.

Most auto parts stores will test your battery for free, so you might as well bring it to one.
