won't start?

Yesterday I started'er up... and shut'er off too early.. probably flooded this morning. What I thought, but I have a fuel cut switch and it has always worked in the past. This time... nadda... sounds like she's cranking... but no ignition... I hit the switch so no fuel can go in... crank a few times to try to get her started without adding anymore fuel... nothing.... just all of a sudden today... also getting a kind of clicking/shaking noise from what appears to be he engine bay close to the center and passenger side?? Can a really dirty air filter maybe be restricting the flow of air and thus not putting enough into the mix to start?

Should I get a friend to just boost me while I try to crank forever?

uhhhg....

Any help is appriciated....

Nevermind... I decided to screw the fuel cut swtich which obviously does'nt do the same as the EGI fuse... so after about 6 goes at it.. bingo she started.. running a bit rough.. but she'll smooth out thanks anyway!

both just cut the power to the fuel pump. Your switch was probably just faulty. That clicking noise may have come from the starter, but its located on the bottom of the tranny.
