wont start?

I just put back together my intake system (LIM, VDI, UIM, and throttle body)
I had it all taken apart and off the car, so this included taking out the
fuel injectors and getting gas everywhere bc I'm smart like that :-)

Now with it all back together, I can't get it to start. I ran the fuel pump
with the car off for about 30 seconds to try and repressurize the lines but
it didn't really seem to do much. I tried starting it before and after
doing this. The car turns over and I can hear the whoomph whoomph whoomph
of the exhuast stroke, but the darn thing just wont ignite. I'm PRETTY sure
I've got all of the electrical connections and whatnot put together, but
maybe I don't. I don't see any loose wires or open tubes.... except
one..... There is a shiny tube sticking out of the back of the VDI on the
passenger side of the car, and I cannot find anything that hooks up to it,
could this be my problem? If not, what other problems could I have? Maybe
its flooded? Maybe I fouled the plugs? I don't really know too much about
what is involved in getting the car started besides the starter the spark
plugs and the fuel injectors.

Thanks!

ok look at the spark plugs and if they are wet is flooded and if so take all of them out and let it set for some time then after a day get some 10-30 oil and place it in the spark plug open area and about one oz and if it starts let it run for some time at 4000rpm when the smoke clears its good to go but if it dose not work you mite have a problem with your air flow.

just as a quick start try (before you try the longer method) take out the fuel pump fuse (inner most fuse on the driver side shock tower) and get in the car, put the gas pedal to the floor, and crank for about 10 seconds. let the starter cool and try again.once youve done it 3 times, then put the fuse back in and start it up like you normally do.
