the car will turn over but will not run wat should i try to make it work, its a 89 non turbo automatic fuel injected thankz

Try the deflooding procedure and check compression.

 

Pull the plugs and Clean them..Pull the EGI fuse..Which is located in th engine Bay..on the Fuse Block..the Second one From the engine..Roll the car over without Plugs for 30 seconds.before you put the plugs back in..put about a two-three Tablespoons of OIL into the LOWER plug Holes( I dip a straw into the Oil bottle,about two thirds then let it go in the LOWER holes).Put the plugs back in..MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE WIRES ON CORRECTLY(IF this is your first time.best thing is to mark the wires Somehow..or draw a quick diagram..to correspond which plug wire goes where). NOW roll the car over 3 seconds..PUT the Plugs back in ..Put the FUSE back in..and try to Start it up..This is a Basic DEFLOODING procedure,,try to "search forums"..and type in .Flooded..car won't start..EGI FUSE....Stuff like that will give you the best Results for what you May be encountering..Welcome to the Forum and Hope you get the car started..(others have different ways to do it..I found this works for me)..Good Luck.Misterstyx69
