wont let me pull codes

wont let me pull codes

ok the check engine light is on in my 89 TII but when i ground the single green test connector on the drivers side it still wont blink the codes?? I have rtek 1.5 will that make it not pull codes??

Sure you have the right connector? There's no reason you shouldn't be able to pull codes with a chipped ECU.

The wierd thing is I am having the exact same issue. In additon to some others. But I have an N370 with Rtek 1.5 and I have a check engine light and it will not flash to indicate a code. Sorry I can't help.

hmmm well i kno i checked codes on mine before the rtek install, and now it wont let me...so maybe it has something to do with the ecu...

Same here. Worked fine before. I swapped in a turbo engine into my '91 RX7 and while I was at it installed the Rtek in the ecu. I really wish I could afford the Rtek Stage 2 because it has a code reader function so I would be able to figure out if there is really anything wrong.
