Hey, my buddy has a 88 fc n/a 5 speed with full exhaust, cone filter and all that jazz. the car recently ran great got some clogged injectors so he decided to drop the tank, clean it and the injectors out and put it all back together.

now that its all back together its running like ****. it has a hard start, have to put foot in the floor to get it to start. when it does start it wont idle at all. it back fires and runs really rough. vibration and bucking.

we hooked up my code tester to the car and its throwing an unreadable code. we dont know where to go from here. any help at all will be appreciated!

 

you got a vacuum leak,sounds like it anyways.

 

That's what I thought but we can't find one anywhere and can't hear one when it's running.

 

define cleaning injectors...

 

we did the old pb blaster and 12 volt method with a blast of air! ive done it several times before and its worked great
