[SIZE=7]Hay guys, I have a 1987 rx7 na. The fuel pump whent out one day. So replaced it and the filter. When I tryed to start it back up, the motor fluded. So i unfluded it useing the steps on rx7.com. It started up but ran like **** and did not idal.It never stoped smoking, evan after about 45min. Some guy told me it was the spark plugs, so replaced them with the ngk plugs. When I started it the same thang happend. I think it might be the apex seals, if any body had this happen to them, please tell me whats rong with it.

 

I'd start by doing a compression test. That would either pinpoint the problem, or eliminate it so you can start looking elsewhere.
