won't hold idle on cold start

Like thesubject says, I get no good cold idle.
I gather my recent throttle body swap to one with the secondary butterflies removed has somehting to do with this. I also have no BAC.

It starts up, runs perfect when cold at about 1300 RPM for like 10 seconds, then just stall out completely. I have to hold the throttle to keep it from stalling until it's warmed up the the first mark on the temp gauge. If I let up on the throttle the car wil stall out. once warm the engine idles fine fairly well.

Could this possibly be a vacuum leak? what should I see for InHg at idle with no vacuum leaks?

I'd liek to get the car working without adding back anything I removed. Is there any sensor I should chck to see if it is the cause?

The engine is naturally aspirated.

one more odd thing I should mention. Even before doing the TB and removing the BAC, the car woudl run rough for the first few minues at idle, then it woudl smooth out and the idle woudl increse. Almost like a spark plug just wans't firing before and suddenly decided to turn on.

This still occurrs even now.

All you described is a normal result of removing the BAC.
