woe is me...(pun)

I take off earlier and she drives just as shittily as usual, but she's driving. She's developed too hard a mid-range stumble to make much driving feasable, but I do it anyway to keep what's left of this ****-*** motor spinning.

Anyway, I drive her about 1 mile to get her warmed up, head home. I kill her and fire her back up and all of a sudden she idle's beautifully...I mean it's a perfect purr. I step on the gas...she revs to 1800rpm and then drops back to idle. I can hold WOT, or just barely touch the throttle, and that's what she does.

Any suggestions? ...other than just setting her on fire and dancing naked around the burning remains while chanting some ritualistic Earth Wind and Fire lyrics....

It's mad at you for assigning it a female gender. My FC obeys me until I break it because it knows it's nothing but a machine.

j/k

How about the injectors, when was the last time you ran a bottle of Gunk injector cleaner through 1/8 a tank driving the **** out of it? That clears up injector issues in most cases.

*edit*

Get a multimeter, put the probes on the two leads in the plug, move the TPS through its range. The multimeter should show a smooth ohm reading from 1k-5k if I recall correctly. See the FSM or haynes manual for the official resistance you should see. It must be smooth changing resistance when you push the tps button.

Sell me the car for $20 flacid and a case of beer.

As for injector cleaning. Only method I found that does anything is.

2 cans of seafoam (or 3 if its realy bad/old/has never been done) then fill it to the brim with gas. Drive it hard for that tank at least a hand full of times including a few redlines.
