woah! power

i have been working on my fc for the last 3 years or so but it just went turbo not too long ago. then i blew the turbo motor cause the stock computer couldnt handle what the motor needed. i went with a megasquirt system and 255 pump 720 secondaries and its great now. in fact its awesome. i was playing with the tuning today and i think i got it perfectly now. all through first and second if i just stomp on the gas, the tires break loose and blow away. its awesome. and its not from super hard tires either. im runing on 225 35 17's azenis. pretty pointless post but man its a great feeling when such a huge project finally rewards you. i hope to get it on the dyno soon and make sure my tune is good and maybe get it a bit better with a wideband. ill post my dyno sheet when i get it done. i love these cars

sounds cool. I would love to have a turbo rx7 as much fun as I have in my non turbo. But, I guess I will have to deal with my talon being my only turbo car for now.

hey, just wanting some feedback on the 1.5 way kaaz LSD.. i'm planning on buying one with the next 2 months.
does it have ANY chatter, is there any sound coming from it at all? do you even notice it?? lol.
umm.. how much easier is it to break traction accelerating, deccelerating. etc.

it makes ALOT of noise! your car will start to understeer as hell when going on throttle while turning.. But if you are one of the guys how "drift" its the ultimate.. Youll find its way more controllable in a drift than an open differential. Anyway, i was going to use my driftcar on the road but the KAAZ is one of the reasons that im NOT going to do it :P

You're impressed with the stock turbo?
Boy, you should take a ride in something with a full turbo upgrade sometime...

Anyone love close enough to this guy to give him a ride?

How did you tune the megasuirt without a wideband? I would think you are basically shooting in the dark...

yeah i have been in plenty fast rx7's including an fd that ran mid 10's. my goal with this car was to add 100 wheel horsepower and make it reliable. i succeeded and im satisfied.

im tuning with the famed butt dyno. im looking for streetability more than huge power so it suits me till we can fine tune it. playing with fuel till it doesnt stink from over rich conditions and no detonation is perfect for me since those both were huge problems with the stock computer.
