its pretty difficult on a 13b. the engine is so small its hard to hide wires in the bay. I found it easier to just move a few items out of the way where possible.

Yeah I removed a few stuff and it cleaned up the bay pretty nicely. A wire tuck is kinda of a hassle cause youd have to find a place to re-route the harness n extend some bit of wiring.

Well duh, of course it's a pain but really not that difficult.
I haven't done the FC yet but this summer I completely rewired the FD and it turned out pretty well.

I think the trick is to completely throw out the restrictions of the stock wiring...Mazda wasn't interested in making it look pretty, or neat for that matter, they wanted easy and simple to assemble.
That lead to more connectors and sloppier wire runs than we might prefer today.

Mazda also had to site some components so they were out of the way of every possible combination of accessories, whether your particular car was to have them or not.

If you're willing to apply a fresh, unjaundiced eye to the project, it's certainly doable.

Ya I know that it is possible as on the engine pics thread a lot of bay are cleaned up a lot! I have done the passenger side already but the driver side is the hard one as I really don't want to pull the dash out and pull the harness inside and the reroute it threw the fenders and cut some that does to the other side and reroute it over there.. I pull the engine harness in and a going to shorten it a lot.

I will take some pics of the bay tomorrow and post so you can see what I am talking about but! Want pics of people moving things and where they mounted them and so on!
