wiring resistor for injectors

This is actually not for a fc rx7, I'm working on a toyota rav4 which is a total pain! Anyways, I ended up getting a replacement engine and it has low impedence fuel injectors vs car origionally having high.

So I had a few quick questions about wiring up a resistor pack. I really don't want to undo the wiring harness to find the source of power to these injectors to make things look nice, I just need it to work.

Can I just use one of the injectors power wires to feed my resistor box, then have the 4 other wires just go to each injector? It won't look pretty, but it wil be easiest and fastest.

I know cars use the injector firiring switch for ground. So I'm wondering if cars usually have power wire the same color and ground wires different colors? Thanks, this is my first time wiring a resistor pack

each injector should have it's own resistor to separate the leads to each. doesn't matter if the resistor is on the power or the triggered ground side of the wiring.

i prefer hooking them up at the ECU inside the car so that the resistors aren't getting additional engine heat and possible premature failure.
