Wiring question...
Ok,
Flame me, bring suit against me, throw rocks thru my living room window, whatever you must do... I just want to know :
Ok, look at the attached pic, even tho this arrangment of wiring seems to work FINE, (all functions work, A/C on, Thermo-relay activated...)
Will this cause any undesirable electrical problems with my car??
RED/Yellow = 12v IGN on
GRN = Ground to chassis
RED = 12v Power from Battery (Yellow box is Fuse)
BLACK= (Here is where i get lost... Neg. terminal from fan grounded to chassis)
ORNG = Power to E-Fan from relay
PURPLE = Thermal sensor in radiatior...
(Square blue thing ) = E-Fan
(ok, here is where i get lost... I have a NEG wire still unattached from the relay to the E-Fan ... Where that is supposed to plug in is Grounded to Chassis... I could not get it to turn on at all with that wire connected.... If there is a fault here, someone please tell me
Thank you!

On the fasttrack!

you know, i used the relay connecter in the front of the car, grounded the fan to the radiator support, and ran the relay, circuit breaker, and all the wiring on the battery side, even used my multi wire battery connector. worked great, came on in the ignition click as well as the igniters.
only big draw back as far as i can see, takes a 30A draw to crank the fan over, but after that its only like 6A to run the thing, and gets rid of the stock pos fan shroud that was destroyed due to the supports letting go and the fan eating it. POS stock plastic manufactorers ****. why do they put so much goddamned plastic on engines nowadays?
peace
