Angry wiring problem.

I just did an engine swap in my 90 gtu non turbo and installed a 90 turbo and drivetrain. My problem is such that the front clip that i bought was a japanese import and the engine harness is to short to reach to the other side. Im reluctant to cut and lengthen, i dont want to affect performance. Could i do this if i need to? Also, am i going to have to switch out the dash wiring harness. The front clip i got has extra wires going to the rear, but i dont have the rear to see where it goes. it was cut along with the car. These wires are on the passenger side and has a white connector along side the door. about 10 wires long 2 wires wide. I would like to keep the harness that is already in the car and just modify engine harness some how. I can relocate the computer. but still some wiers still not reach. plese help. Already have a lot of money invested in this project. Tyhank you. joshua
