New to the RX7 forum, and new to the rotary world too. Last month I bought an '88 FC3C black was not running at the time but was told it needed a new starter. The engine is suppose to be in good running order time will tell. Here is my question, I have notice wires pulled and cut in multiple places and none of the switches are working, i.e. the switch for the roof, windows and mirrors and dash lights. Has anyone done a rewire job from scratch, what I mean is using aftermarket toggle switches? Is something like this way overboard or somewhat common? If people have done this and wrote it down and if so were can I find it? Thanks for the help in advance.

 

Why not connect them back up?
red=red, blue=blue, brown=brown

but of course with these car's, red could=clear...
