Wiring Harness question

My buddy and I are doing a T2 swap into his 86 rx7. its a s5 jdm motor. we are extending the harness to account for the RHD vs LHD. We're going to use an apexi wiring harness extension and were sent an 442-a006 which fits an FD, not an FC. Talking to the guy over the phone he said we needed an a004, but my online searches only found that it works with honda/acura.

we don't want to waste another 2 weeks and have to send that one back for another one. if anyone knows if the 442 a004 will work with an fc i would greatly appreciate it.

The s5 engine is gonna take a Bit Of Rewiring to get going on an s4.
you Should rightfully get an S4 TII engine,or at least try to modify the S5 Keg and Put S4 Components on it,as it will be a Pain in the *** to wire up.
TPS and the OMP are 2 things right off the bat that are gonna give you Problems(if you leave the engine a True S5)
S5 keg with a S4 TII front cover,s4 injectors,s4 N/A harness( to be cheap) S4 TB and Tps...But leave the s5 Turbo ON.
That is a little bit of What I would do in your position.
UNLESS you are gonna run Standalone which you failed to mention.

There's one of these threads once a week. Use the search feature.

In short you're going to have to do a lot more work due to the fact that it isn't the same series as the car. WAY better off just using an S4 engine in an S4 car and vise versa...but if you want to shoot yourself in the foot it can be done.

It is simple I did the swap 2 and a half months ago. Get a S4 N/A harness wire it up extend the BAC Valve wires and TPS Wire if they dont reach mine did for the TPS. Fuel line run different so check that and on the ECU side you have to not use a few of the wires. I didnt cut mine instead I just took a pick and dislodged the wire from the connector and wrapped it up in some electrical tape. Make sure you use all S4 TII electronics. and make sure you remember where the wires connect to cause some of the connectors are different on the sensors. You might wanna check compression before you wire it up and once you get it goin MAKE SURE YOU SET THE TPS. I might have to do a rebuild due to loss compression in my front rotor from TPS not settin right and washed down the housing from floodin.
