wiring harness was cut when stolen
My son recieved a 86 rx 7 for xmas that does not start, after reading alot of info on this site I felt that flodding was the problem, So I went to install a fuel cutoff swith only to find the wiring was cut where the fuel switch would be spilced into. My question is what does it plug into? Also the car was stolen from the owner.Did they take a computer or something ?
Thanks for your help

Its under the dash up near the steering column right? 5 or 6 wires (I dont remember which, one is black/white, one is blue/red). The relay itself is just a little black box.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
BTW, instead of installing a switch, pull the 30 amp ECU INJ fuse from under the hood.
Furthermore, if it floods cold, you hold the accel Pedal all the way down while cranking to clear and start.
On the series 4 cars this opens the throttle plates for extra air and the OMP pumps full volumn into the rotors to help restore compression. On the S5 cars, the computer has a software run, with the car cranking and full throttle to clear the flood.
Anyway, what wire was cut??? the original post doesn't even say what color or location.
