wiring harness connector help

anyone help me with where these go i did search and have been looking in the book.

this is the mess i have right now. had to take the smog pump off the route the alternator harness correctly. to find out that one of the bolts had been cross threaded and stripped. it snapped off course so i have to re-tap the threads on the pump to fix them. i know i need to pick up a radiator still too as well. as some other parts.

Is there anyway you could edit the photo to circle exaclty which wire's you need to know about or have some better picks of that area. I might be able to help but I have to see down in the engine bay. I just rebuilt my motor and put the whole wiring harness and all the wires back on. Also is this an automatic?

What year is this car and that is power steering on there correct? I have never seen it before. Some of these wires I have not clue what they are. Try to check the archives for and write ups on this they have alot of good stuff in there. Also check this link out there maybe some helpful stuff there to. http://mazdarx7.iougs.com/index.shtml

its a 91. yes that is the power steering. i'm almost wondering if some of them are just more test connectors or for automatic but i would think those need would be in a different place.

Green plug should be BAC valve.

Is the Brake fluid level sensor plugged in (almost looks like it), either that or it's a p/s plug.

I thought that looked like the BAC plug but I don't see the BAC in any of the photos then again this is a different intake than on my 86. Also If you could get a flashlight out there and take pictures of all the wires such as area's that look like they need a wire hooked up to them. Then we can match them up better that way. : )

Is the harness from the same series?

Also, take the hood off if you're doing enough work. Easy to do and easier with a helper.

injectors are gray. the green is your coolant temp in the water pump housing and the black is the coolant temp in the wp housing for the a/c

did you pull this car from a lake?

Your gonna have to take the UIM off to get those grey injector wires on there. Also I am just guessing but that round metal ground wire they looks like your ECU ground which is ground under the UIM as well make.

ok so i pulled the uim today. to find out that the primary injectors were not installed at all. i'm missing the air bleed sockets and mixing plates. i know to replace all the rubber o-rings. so i'll be doing that as well. then trying to resume the reassembly of the engine to get it running. thanks again for the help.

Thumbs up

Might as well send the injectors to Witchhunter (or whoever you like) to have them cleaned and overhauled. Witchhunter gets $15 plus shipping per injector. Well worth the time and money to have this done since you have the UIM already off.
Just my two cents.

thanks for the advice. it looks like they charge $19 per injector now. so would just need to send the injectors themselves. then still get the new o-ring seals for the air bleed sockets. which i need to order as well as the mixer plates.

Thanks for the price update. I should have double checked my info before posting.
