I have 87 NA and bought 87 turbo JDM motor to swap.
The motor is in but my mechanic said wiring harness he got is not matching up. No harness came with the motor and the one ordered is not matching up. I was told there is a gender difference with the 2 motors so what should i do.
Where can i get the harness i need?
Can i use my stock NA harnes and wire it for 87tII jdm motor and how?

 

if the harness is a JSPEC harness, it wont match up because some wires will be longer where they need to be short and vice versa, since the harness comes from the other side of the car, all you need to do is shorten and lengthen the wires accordingly
