i recently got a FC leading coil for my FD but am in the dark on which wire is the power and which is the signal on the coil.

on the FD's harness its the black/red is power and green/yellow is signal, but on the coil, there is a pink wire and a tan wire connected to a harness plug
i did a search and didnt find anything on this exact subject.
if anyone can call out which is which i would appreciate it a lot.

Tan is 12v pink is signal.

 

Look at the terminals that the leads connect to on the coil itself.
You'll see the "-" and "+" marks embossed in the plastic.
