Greddy EGT light bulbs? WTF

Yeah, so I buy this Greddy EGT gauge off ebay for 25 bucks...go figure the gauge works but both of it's light bulbs are burned out...



WTF are those things...where can I get more?

They said the blue thing is just a holder...and you actually want to pull the bulb out...this looks a lil more normal.

you may want to consider LEDs, if it is even an option. May see a longer bulb life

Yeah, that is a good idea considering how I have seen more LEDs with those spider legs than incandescent bulbs.

Turns out those worked just fine.

And I figured out how in the hell the bulbs burned out. I looked at the wiring harness that came with it. The person who installed it last....twisted the constant power, switched power, and the light power together.

So the light was on when the gauge was powered....yikes!

Edit - Radio Shack wanted $4 for one led...
