wireing problem

ok so i've read that rx7's have wiring problems but i can't find anything on them. I really wish my clock would work all the time not just when it feels like it. Also if my clock has bad wireing could my idiot warning lights also be faulty? Im hoping someone will tell me I don't have to take off the entire dash to fix this minor problem but i guess execelence requires alot of work.
When I got the car, the first thing to go bad was the battery so I bought the most expensive interstate battery I could. It has weird fluxuations whenever I turn anything on. I was wondering how many amps or watts or whatever do you need to actually start the car?

idiot lights are controlled by CPU (drivers side left foot)

properly working idiot lights will light up all right before you will start your car, then go off...

clock has its own module inside idiot lights, u could fix it
only thing u need to do is remove idiot/warning lights assembly itself (first remove carefully cover which is in front of it and then u`ll see 2 screws..on back side there is one connector....)

Not wiring problems, Cold solder joint problems, just like half the other Japanese cars built 15 years ago have.

90% of the time when the clock is intermittent (but does work) and some or all of the idiot lights don't light up when they should the problem ios related to cold solder joints on the plug of the idiot lights.

It would need to be removed and re-soldered. You would need to remove all the old solder from the plug on the circuit board of the clock/idiot light panel, and then flow new solder in.

Also I can re-solder it for you for $20+ shipping. PM me if you want to go that route.

BTW, this has been covered many many times, you may wish to use the search function found in the upper right hand corner of this page next time before posting.
