Which wire is it PLEASE!
I've got an 86 n/a. the motor was replaced with an 87' engine and an 87' wiring harness
I am trying to reground the BOOST sensor (passenger shock tower) I have these color wires coming from my wire harness.
Solid black wire, with a thin white stripe and yellow dots
'Thin' solid black wire, with brown dots
Solid brown wire, thin white stripe, with blue dots
Solid brown wire, thin red stripe, with blue dots.
I've heard so many different colors in the past couple of weeks and I DO NOT want to fry my ECU.. please tell me which wire would be the correct wire to ground... thank you very much

The solid Black wires are grounds...
The dots only refer to what harness it is... for example red dots are front harness, silver dots are interior front, etc. the dots really have little to do with the color of the wire.

Sorry I was not clear... Solid black wires are ground.
A black wire with a white stripe is not solid colored. It is a stripped wire. Strippes do matter, dots on the other hand only refer to what harness the wire runs too/belongs in and can be ignored.
