Wire near primaries

There's a green wire coming out of the main wire group right next to the primary injectors. Right where the wires for the primaries split off, this does also. About two inches after splitting off it is hooked to a connector. After the connector it goes for like 3 inches then just ends in a frayed wire going to nothing. If that made any sense, where is this wire supposed to go?

Only thing I can think of off the top of my head is the water thermo sensor...Some of the injector wires are green, though, with different colored stripes, so could be an "old" one that was replaced. does it look "beefier" than your average wire?

It's a pretty thin wire, not like the injector wires. I forgot to add the wire for the thermo is also there, so it's not that. So where those injector wires split off theres actually 4 wires. 2 injectors, 1 sensor, and 1 ???.

Man, it's been a while since the rebuild, and all that wiring is still sheathed on my car anyway, so, hmmm...

If there's only 4 wires they're all for the injectors. One power for each from the main relay, and one each that head back to the ECU. Have no idea what your mystery wire is...It's solid green?

Hey- could it be the O2 sensor wire?

If it's a green wire with a black stripe its the wire for the temp switch on the filler neck. This switch is for the optional auxiliary electric fan. If your car didn't come with that fan there'll be no temp switch, the the plug (it should have one) will just be hangin loose.

Thanks guys. Since the car ran good without the wire hooked to anything, I guess it's good to go now. Was just curious. I'll try to get a picture but oh well .
