Wire Colros on a 88 T2

Can someone list or point me in the right direction. I am looking to find out what the different wires coming off the ECU are and what they go through. I have looked at hailers ECU diagrams with utter confusion, lol.

This is for an 88T2 ecu and harness.

Download the wiring diagrams chapter of the 88 FSM from www.fc3s.org, the ECU diagrams for the Turbo are on pages 50-22 to 50-27. But here's the trick: the key for the colour codes in not in the damn FSM! You need to get a Haynes manual, it's in there. These aren't too hard to follow once you get used to them, but feel free to ask any questions.

Question

Check page 50-5. It lists all the color abbreviations in my 1988 FSM. They are:

B- Black
BR-Brown
G-Green
L-Blue
LB-Light Blue
P-Pink
GY-Gray
LG-Light Green
O-Orange
R-Red
Y-Yellow
W-White
V-Violet

For striped wires, the first is the base color of the wire, the second is the stripe.

Hope this helps,

Greg O.

I have the electronic copy from www.fc3c.org and it's missing that page! I always why the hell they wouldn't put that in. Thanks for that info, that's really helpful.
