wiper switches / washer fluid

ok maybe im an idiot and dont know how to work the switches but im pretty sure my wiper switches arent working correctly . when i set the switch to "I" it works but when i switch it to"II" it does not work? also while the first speed is on i switch it to off and the wipers jsut freeze in whatever position they are... is that suppose to happen ? and also m ywasher fluid does not spray and i just filled it up today. does anyone know if my controls are broken?

Yes, the wiper switch is faulty. You can get another as mentioned or if you know how to solder and are good at taking things apart you may can fix it. Mine was broke for quite awhile I got really good at timing when to turn the wipers off so they would stop in the right place. There used to be a how to floating around on the net that told how to fix it. I think Icemark also sells rebuilt ones.Do a search on his name and there's a link in his sig. to his site.
