Wiper switch schematic
I've searched, but I'm not having any luck.
Could someone please let me know where I can find the schematic diagram for the 88 convertible wiper switch itself? My switch used to only work on low, but after replacing the black relay, it now will work on low and high, but won't return by itself, and has high speed on intermittent. I believe that I must have pulled the copper lugs out when desoldering, so I'd like to know where I need to run wires to correct the problem.
Thanks,
Terrence.

The schematics are not available. The convertertable wiper switches are like hen's teeth. There are people on ebay who will rebuild your REBUILDABLE switch for $99. I am a EE and made the same mistake you made. The printed circuit board is very suseptable to damage by a soldering iron. You are now faced with a non-rebuidable switch. The repair shops will not sell you a switch outright. You will have to search for the switch which is unique to the convertable. A new one runs from $400 to $650 depending on your model year. After a long search on the internet I found one for $150.00
