Wiper switch/relay or motor?

Hey all, been a long time... I've searched quite a bit but have come back with two different answers regarding my problem. None of the searched results were exactly the same problem as mine so I wanted to know what you all think.

In my 10AE the wiper switch only works on I and II. For Int and mist the wiper goes halfway up the windscreen then stops. If I hold the switch down to mist it goes fine but I have to time it right in order to get the wipers to dock at the bottom. Is this a problem with the relay or with the wipers motors themselves?

My money would be on the relay. I had the same problem and when I replaced the relay problem went away. If you're handy with a soldering gun, it's pretty easy DIY project.

I have the same failure to dock. Replaced the motor with no change. My bet is on the relay.
