Question wiper switch problems

any one ever have a wiper switch only work in one position? the one that was in the car didnt work at all. i got one from the yard and it only works in the I position, no intermintent, nothin in II and the rear wiper wont work. hazards do tho. and the squirter works too. in the one position it dose work the blades wont return on thare own. is my switch screwed or is thare a relay that controlls all the functions for it????

This is a common malfunction in the FC's. Mine does this as well and I did a quick fix by looking on this website. http://2ndgenrx7.freeservers.com/techmaster.html
Once there, click on wiper switch fix. It tells you what causes the wiper switch to malfunction and how to do a quick fix. Hope this helps out.
