wiper problem

ok yeah i looked in sticky and i searched but my problem is a little differnet...

yeah my wipers only work on one speed but on top of that they wont turn off they jsut keep going and going and going....

so has anyone encountured this problem? if its not a relay problem what is it? and should i just ask icemark for help?

my 2 gen have another wiper problem. It can not completely go back to orginal unless I have luck. So, I replace a wiper switch and it works normal again.
You may try a used wiper switch on the FS section.

my wipers on my s5 did that too. i left them unplugged on accident, than when i plugged them in they automaticlly turned on and wouldnt shut off. so i unplugged it for like 1.5 days cause i didnt have time to wrk on it than i plugged them in one day after work and they worked just fine.. sorry not much help just putting in one of my experiences

Not turning of is generally a bad internal joint or shorted resistor in the switch. Occasionally you will also see that problem with a bad wiper motor, but it is pretty rare.

Only working on one speed is a bad internal wiper switch relay.
