wiper motor or switch
hey.. I was wondering what normaly goes first the wiper motor or the wipe switch... cuz my wipers work but only on speed one... NO mist no speed 2 and when i turn my switch off the wipers just stop were they are they dont go back down were they should be.. so what should i do?? Or how could i check to see what the problem is..

One of the relays is bad. This is an unbelievably common problem. You can get it fixed for a reasonable price at www.mazdamark.com . He does excellent work and is very trustworthy. If you are good with soldering and electronics repair you can just buy the relay there and fix it yourself.

take out the wiper switch. Then, take the blue/red wire and connect to ground. If the motor turn is ok. Then take the blue/white wire and do the same. That is one cable for high and the other for low speed. It in both speed the motor works that means is ok and the wiper switch is bad. In the workshop manuals that you download fron the internet they explains how to test the wiper switch.
