Wiper Module relay replacement

Ok, I've seen posts in the past on this subject. I think I want to take a shot. I'm asking anyone that has done this to please respond here or PM me.

Most important, I need detail info on the make and modle number of the replacement relays. Just want to avoid the brain damage of taking my old module to my local electronics parts place and digging through catalogues.

Any help out there would be MOST appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I had a small 12v relay that didn't fit, so I just soldered 6 wires to the relay & wired it it the board. Taped it up put it back together. So now is goes tick tock with each cycle on intermittant, but it works great.

My wiper switch was REALLY fucked up, not the typical problem of only working in the "lo" position.

I changed the relays and it works better than what it was before but not like it should :o

Yet another link https://www.rx7club.com/vforums/show...ighlight=wiper by the way, have you tried the *search* engine for wipers on this site? Some people are not aware of it at all. The above link I remembered from a couple weeks ago and searched it out. I definetly remember one that refered to the link that gives instructions for removing and replacing a relay in the assy, but that fellow found out that it was one of the other relays in the assy and he gave numbers for the other relays.
