ok a week ago wanted to turn the windshield wipers on and they didnt come on. i ran the car a few feet and stoped cause it was misty out. then all of a sutton they started working. now for the past few months in the first turn i guess the 1, sloweest mode there is , they dont go at all, well i take that back they start to go and then stop. but in all other modes they worked fine. but now this. so then yesterday they for some reason didnt work again, in any of the mods. i got out wiggled them a bit and i think i accidently wiggled/ pulled on the passenger side to much and stripped the teeth cause now that side wont work at all and feels a little loose too. the driver side works for some reason though now in all the modes execpet in 1. now i have did a search and ICEMark makes the selanoic to correct them but i didnt thing that in my case that was what is wrong with. im guessing i need to replace the teeth i think theyre made out of plastic right? or motor going bad that makes the work.

anyone have some advide/ input. thanks

 

my advice= get a rebuilt from Icemark(warranty, not hard to do it yourself but hey he gives a warranty and you know it works) or try a junkyard replacement (crapshoot but you could get lucky)

Simply put they fail for several reasons but after 17+ years what the heck it dont owe you anything

 

i would get one from him if i knew that was it. see having one side working i dont think its the relay. and on his web site it states when the high gear doesnt work for the wipers.

the only geear that didnt work on mine was the first low gear . and even it started but then all of a sudden stopped inthe middle of the window making me think its just a matter of replacing the teeth.
anyone else have some input.
