Winter Storage Safety and tips
Hello everyone, like some of us im getting ready to put my car away from the road till next spring.
but i been wandering on wich methods are better for the engine most importantly, for example
*Is it Better to start the car once a week at least and let it warm up and Run for about 15-20min, or is it better to just not start it all till im ready to use the car.
i mean if the car is outside in -10 degree weather when u crank it up it spins a cuple of revolutions with out any oil anywere because it hasent circulated, plus it would be hard for the oil to circulate due to the fact that is so cold and not as fine as when warm.
im sure this damages the rotor housing a bit from friction without lubrication.
so is it better not to start it at all?
*do the Gas stablizers work? the ones that are suposed to keep the gas going bad or sumthing like that?
*is it better for the car to be in jack stands with out any suspension components compressed(coilovers) or in the flat wheels to the ground holding the weight of the car?
thats all i can think of as of right now any help answering these questions would be awesome.

Store it with a full tank, don't bother with stabilisers, they're not really needed. Move the car a few times during the winter so its not always sitting on the same spot on the bearings and tires, unplug the injector fuse and turn it over a few times to get oil circulating about, keep the battery charged (I bring mine in) and that's fine.
No bumping, read the rules, it makes you seem like an impatient little kid. Besides, this has been covered many times before, you should have done a search and then you wouldn't have needed to post and wait for a response in the first place.
