windshield wipers won't turn off

my damn windshield wipers won't turn off!!!! it has to be the relay but i checked fc3s and it explains about replacing the relay if it will only turn on in one position.. should i still go ahead and replace the relay like it says or is there something else i am over looking?

I'd go with the relay. When my wipers only worked on one speed I looked at the circuit and found that if I put a switch to ground on a certain wire at the wiper switch, that went to the wiper motor, the wipers would go full speed. So what I'm trying to say is that you could trouble shoot the wipers system with a digital meter and the wiring schematic to find if it is indeed the wiper switch. Wiring schematics a http://www.fc3s.org. I've gotta go cut the grass. Might jpg it later if needed.

sometimes the switch will stick in the mist position...

or the wiper motor has a bad switch in it.

Those two things I would be checking first
