I would bet good money that one of the three first replies would include the word SEARCH, and some comment about rookies....

I actually use a bench grinder and grind off the plastic so that it looks all pretty and nice.

The replacement relay I use is the Omron, G6C-2114P-US-DC12, which is an upgraded sealed version of the relay available from Digi-key (www.digi-key.com) as P/N Z950-ND, with 8 amp contacts (instead of the 5 amp contacts in the stock relay that tend to overheat and burn up).

Because it is a sealed relay, and designed for higher operating temps, you don't need to use the heat sheild that Mazda felt was needed.
