I want my exhaust
I just called Racing Beat, and they told me that I had to wait another month to get my full exhaust for my 89 GXL!
I was thinking of getting something else. I want an exhaust that's not too loud.
What would you guys do? I have about $900 to spend. Or should I just wait for the RB exhaust?
Thanks.

I paid for my header and presilencer at the same time. My header got to my house a full 5 weeks before the presilencer did. Yes, RB likes to backorder. Yes, RB is worth waiting a month for

which RB setup are we talking? The RB header to single outlet and RB catback?
How about the mazdatrix true dual exhaust? Only 1200 w/ RB mufflers granted thats pricey, but hell, you have 900 now, whats another couple hundred for one of the best exhaust systems ever made for an N/A!

if you don't want to wait, you have many options.
If it was me, I'll check with other suppliers who might have the RB in stock.
Get whatever is in stock now, and hook it up to a different brand or custom make some parts

Alright thanks.
I'm getting the catback from Mazdatrix at the end of the week.
I was thinking about getting a bonez Race pipe. Will those 2 fit together?
RB claim an 18 hp increase with the midpipe/presilencer. Will I see similar gains with a Bonez race pipe?
Will it sound like a pissed off chipmunk?
thanks!

yes they will fit together, BUT you will retain the stock exhaust manifold(only eliminating the 2 pre-cats with the race pipe). It will not be as loud as with the header (which is good), but you will not have max flow. So the gains will be less, but it is a ~$200 trade-off for a little HP and noise.
