Window tolerance question

So I rolled down my window the other day to notice it is quite wobbly. I guess my question here is this a common problem due to bushings wearing out from dry rot, old age, etc or is this just loose hardware. If anyone has any tech info or has seen heard or dealt with this recently please enlighten me I just don't have the time to dissasemble and inspect this due to working so much at the moment. Mine still seal when rolled up, but the tolerance seems to be from very, very old internal and external sill seals.

I'd start with checking the obvious and just verifying that the window is securely fastened to the rail. The inner and outer window seals could be shot. Also, the window channel itself may be rotting away. These parts are available from Mazda or Mazdatrix.

In my experience, once the window has been removed/replaced the tolerances are never the same after that. Somebody probably broke into the car a long time ago and the window was replaced.

...

That would explain a lot in my case.

my regulator exploded right after i read this. so i um just changed it.

the FC is very nice, there is an adjustment, but its at the front of the window, and its actually separate from the regulator, so you can change the regulator and it doesn't affect where the window sits.

if its flopping side to side, that might be the regulator, although they have that little doo dad to keep the thing on track

Makes sense I everything internally looks to be intact and appears to have some life left however the built in door panels which keep the window secured (given they can be reinstalled completely without any deformation or lack of securing clips) look like they where ripped off with no finess just brut retard strength.....and that smells like buku $$$$$
