Question Window switches

Well, I accidently broke my driver's side window switch while I was trying to roll it up. The switch actually just cracked right where it pivots in the casing. But after finding out that there was a a blown 10A fuse in the window spot in the fuse box instead of a 30A, I realized I needed to change it. The passenger side window is also not really working so I'm going to to go back through and recheck all the connections. Does anyone know where to get window switches to replace them? Or should I just make my own?

Thanks,
Jordan

IIRC Icemark sells rebuilt ones......also - the S4 switches are far more robust than S5 just so you know.

Well I have an 88 and it still broke. But if I replace them, it's not going to be with S5 switches. Has anyone else just replaced them with whole new switches? Btw, whats IIRC mean?

Not sure, but you may just want to call the dealer on that. Sometimes Im surprised how cheap things are. Ex. - the triangular vents people hunt tirelessy for? $12cdn from the dealer.

Mazdatrix and the local dealer have switches. Ebay almost always has some used ones.
Ebay isn't cheap. Better off buying new from your local dealer or online dealer. Used switches are risky. They might work now but the plastic is old and brittle. It'll break sooner than a new switch.
