Window Stuck, different then other threads ive searched
So I always use the "search" button whenever I have any problems, but have a quick, should be easy question.
My interior is completely stripped from my s5 vert, ECU is gone, battery is out, dash, seats, carpet, etc. The passenger window is stuck down, and I need to get it up. People have mentioned hooking up a battery to it, but where will I need to hook it up, what do I use, IE, jumper cables??
Just need to get the window up, nothing more. Thanks for the help.

Oh.. sorry, must have missed that part.
I've never pulled a wiring harness before... does it include the power from the battery, the main fuse block and the wires to the internal fuse block (BTN circuit)? If not, you don't need an ECU to roll the windows up.

There is. You can pull the interior panel off and take the cable off the pullies. I wouldnt suggest it though as the window wont stay up and you may mangle the cables in there.
Is the motor just not working when you hit the switch? Have you checked the switch to make sure that the wires are all connected to it and to the harness plug?

Pull the door panel. Somewhere near the door speaker is a two wire plug.
There are only two wires that run to the window motor. One Red and one Green. Disconnect the two wire plug and run a jumper wire to the plug running to the motor. Best to stick each jumper wire into the back of the plug.
Now, as suggested already, put one jumper wire to the positive post of a charged batter, and one to the negative post. If your window goes up, you're good. If it goes down, reverse the connection and the window should go up.
