window removal (power)
So i picked up a door from pick and pull on half price day for 20 bucks, i knew it was power and my door is manual but i figured it wouldnt be a problem to swap over everything....how wrong i was.
My main problem is getting the window out, from what i read on the forums/in the FSM is that i need to lower the window half way to unbolt it but i have no way of lowering it. i cant seem to find a way to force it down or any cable i can just cut to make it drop (i dont care what happens to this window or anything in the door, i just want the door and nothing else so i can swap all my other stuff into it.
So any advice on how to get the window lowered/out?
EDIT: followed the tip of another thread and hooked the leads right to my battery and it rolled right down!

This is really quite simple. You can move the window by simply applying power to the plug (Red and Green wire) that goes to the power window regulator. Apply positive to one and negative to the other to more it one why, reverse how you applied the power to move it the other way.
Suggestion how to do, put jumper cables on your battery and odd wire in the jaws of the jumper cables other end. That way you can maneuver applying power to the power regulator motor.
