window doesnt roll up...

window doesnt roll up...

for the past few days, after school let out id go out to my car, start it and roll down the window well it takes a minute then after it goes down its fine for the rest of the day, it was like that for about 3 days, well now i cant get it to do anything, is this my motor or could there be something else?
my cousin just had a wrecked S4 brought to his junkyard and i got the trans off of it. if it is my motor will the S4 motor work on my car?...

If any part of it is sticking up, give it a good pull as you hit the switch up... mine used to get stuck sometimes.

it could be the motor or the switch...my step dads rx had the same problem...and his was mainly the switch...

I had a similar problem in my 88, and it turned out ot be the switch.

Try taking the switch out of the door and checking the connections on it... They might be lose or complete off... Also wats the best way to dismount the warning indicators in the center dash of the '86 to rewire it so it works?
