Winding Engine nosie

Hey, I am looking to by a GTU. I have driven 4 by now. And one of the cars has a winding noise above 3500. But it cut off when i let off the gas. He said he had a new clutch installed but it doesnt sound like clutch problem. One of my friend said it might be a air hose. but wouldn't that make a hissing nosie. What do you guys think? Does it sound like that big of a problem?

Thank you,
Zach

Sorry, the sound seems to come from the engine. Seems to stay constant with the engine after 3500. At first i thought it was cool, and dismisted it mabe as just a wankle sound. Maybe it is? If you have any other question just ask if you think it would help to isolate the problem. But i think i might just have a shop check it out.

maybe a belt slipping or the fan clutch going. look at the pulleyes and berings those tend to get squeeky. fave a freind rev the engine while you listen for exactly where the noise comef from under the hood.

I had to replace both pulleys some time back for the same problem. Initially whinned at higher RPMs then all the time. New pulleys.. no noise.
