i need to know if i can bolt a S4 TII motor to my S5 N/A drive train. i'm trying to find a TII engine and it would be lots easier if i could look for an S4 as well as an S5 motor. any help is greatly appreciated cuz my coolant seals are dying on my N/A.

That's a lot of posts to ask this question...j/k. Anyways you can use either but with the s5 in an s4 chassis you will have to swap out the ecu and the wiring harness, you will need all that wiring to get it to run right, you would need the new stuff for a t2 swap normally anyways s4 or s5- the ecu's aren't the same in the turbos and non turbos...good luck.

yeah you can use a s5 na drive train for a while. I would suggest getting the rest as soon as you can because the tranny and half shafts won't hold long depending on how long you drive it and how you drive it. If you are beating it at the lights don't expect it to last long.

The NA tranny is "thought" to start dying around 200 HP so be careful if you do it.
AaronCake pulled it off until he something like the oil plug fell out and seized it up.
I am using a TII tranny with a hybrid Mazdatrix driveshaft and using the NA LSD reaerend. I am hoping it will hold my 220-230hp-ish engine.
